This policy explains how SUITS - the Scientific, Universal, Individual, Transformative System of Wellness - uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and describes what we store on your device, why we store it and how you stay in control.
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Local storage works in much the same way: it holds a small amount of data in your browser rather than on our servers. Throughout this policy we use "cookies" to mean both.
Cookies set by SUITS itself are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by services we rely on - our identity provider and our payment processor - are third-party cookies, and those providers act as independent controllers for the data they collect.
SUITS keeps its use of cookies deliberately narrow. We use them to sign you in and keep you signed in, to remember where you are in your wellness journey, and to take payment securely when you unlock a deep-dive assessment. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to follow you across other websites.
Required for SUITS to work. They keep you signed in, protect your session and route your requests to the right server. They cannot be switched off from within the platform, because the service would stop functioning without them.

Remember choices you make so the platform behaves consistently. Losing them does not break SUITS, but parts of the experience become less convenient.

We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. SUITS sets no third-party profiling identifiers, runs no ad networks and does not sell or share your browsing behaviour. If this ever changes, we will ask for your consent before any such technology is enabled.
Because we only set cookies that are strictly necessary or that remember a preference you have expressed, no consent banner is required for them under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR. You remain free to remove them at any time.
Authentication is handled by Auth0 and payments by Stripe. Both set their own cookies under their own terms, and both publish their own cookie and privacy notices, which we encourage you to read. We do not control how long those providers retain the data they collect.
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a technology that stores data on your device. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent before the change takes effect.
